Rigetti Computing (RGTI) Q3 Earnings: Losses Widen but Beat Estimates
Rigetti Computing reported a narrower-than-expected adjusted loss of 3 cents per share on $1.9 million revenue, surpassing analyst forecasts of a 5-cent loss. The quantum computing firm's operating losses expanded to $20.5 million, up from $19.9 million last quarter and $17.3 million year-over-year.
The company secured $5.7 million in purchase orders for its 9-qubit Novera quantum systems, with deliveries slated for early 2026. Rigetti maintains a strong liquidity position with $600 million cash reserves and $46.5 million from warrant exercises.
Despite a 2% intraday drop to $33.08, RGTI shares remain one of 2025's standout performers with a 2,000% annual gain. The stock's volatility reflects both the speculative nature of quantum computing investments and Wall Street's appetite for disruptive tech plays.
